You are a marvelous author. One of my favorites is James and the Giant Peach. I would love to have a giant peach that never went bad. If I could meet any author, it would be you. Wow - you got to eat 12 chocolate bars whenever Cadbury's had an idea, and rate them! Awesome.
Was it scary when you were working for the Royal Air-force? Did you like Africa? I wish you had finished Charlie and the White house before you passed away. Once my family and I went peach picking in upstate New York, and there were millions and trillions of peaches. It was like the part in Danny, Champion of the world, where pheasants were lying all over the place. There are only 3 or 4 books you wrote, that I haven't read, and I will read them soon, very soon.
What was your favorite book as a kid? I also loved the BFG. The day that I got it, I couldn't stop reading. Charlie and the chocolate factory was a great one too, even though my mum was in Bangalore when I was reading it. Do you like to collect things? I do. I collect almost anything. I would also love to go in a boat to a little island and go explore it. And by the way, what are those little winkle things that you ate with bread and butter? Were they like oysters? Did they taste good? I never eat seafood unless its tuna, salmon or a little bit of seafood in a dish that's cooked by my family.
What was it like in the 50's? What things did you have? Nowadays, we have digital readers, computers, projectors, cell phones with internet, ipod touch, ipods, flat screen TVs and lots of other things. I have to go, but thanks for reading this, and once again, thanks for writing the best books in the world!
